The HyperX Alloy Origins 65 represents HyperX’s commitment to delivering professional gaming performance in a compact and travel-friendly form factor. The 65% layout is a sweet spot for many gamers — it removes the numpad and function row but keeps the arrow keys and a few navigation keys, making it smaller than a tenkeyless but more functional than a 60% layout.

The keyboard uses HyperX Red linear switches, which are manufactured exclusively for HyperX. These switches feature a smooth linear feel with an actuation force of 45g and a short actuation distance of 1.8mm, making them highly responsive for fast-paced gaming scenarios. The switches are rated for 80 million keystrokes for exceptional longevity.

Constructed entirely from aircraft-grade aluminum, the Alloy Origins 65 is remarkably solid and durable. The metal body doesn’t flex or creak even under the most intense typing or gaming sessions, and it adds a premium heft that speaks to the build quality. The detachable USB-C cable with a 90-degree connector keeps the setup tidy and makes transportation easy.

The per-key RGB lighting is vivid and customizable through HyperX NGENUITY software, allowing you to create custom lighting effects, macros, and key remapping. Up to three onboard profiles can be stored directly on the keyboard for use without software. N-key rollover and 100% anti-ghosting ensure every input is accurately registered during gaming.
